The Senior Prank

 The Fort

          It's the week before homecoming in Fort Calhoun.  The football team has started their season off at 2-1 going into the fourth week.  They only have seven seniors but there is a bunch of young athletic players that help contribute to the success of the team.  

          Fort Calhoun is a small town of about 900 people. There is barely anything that goes on in the town besides  the school sports.  The whole town comes to support the school athletic teams.  The biggest crowds usually attend the football games.  Football in our town is big and has been for years.  The team has never been very good but this year is a different story with the new schedule they got.  They have only been to the playoffs a couple times since the first football team played at Fort Calhoun.  When the team went to the playoffs last year the whole town went to watch them play because it was the first in many many years that  the football team has been to the state playoffs.  The fans of Calhoun do a very good job of making it to all the games and sporting the school colors.  The players say it is a cool feeling being out on the field and looking up into the crowd and seeing all the orange and black there to support and cheer them on.  The Fort has also just added a new addition to the cheering section.  The school bought a mascot costume so we could have another thing to pump us and the crowd up during the games. 

          The Fort is a great place in general and is cool in its own way.  There are no big stores or anything.  There is a couple gas stations and a bar that people often stop at.  The towns people do there best to keep everything in business in this small town and keep a happy and enjoyable environment.  The students at the school do their best to help out as well.  The seniors have a good group of kids but the boys can get a little bit on the wild side.
